Yes. Algeria is safe for tourists, particularly in the northern regions (Algiers, Oran, Constantine, Tlemcen) and the Sahara desert. Most European, North American and GCC nationals require a visa. However, Algeria launched a Visa-on-Arrival pilot for select nationalities visiting the Sahara region. The best months are March–May and October–November — mild temperatures across the north and comfortable desert nights in the Sahara. July and August are very hot in the interior (40 °C+) but perfect for coastal Algiers and Oran. Winter (December–February) is magical in the Sahara with clear skies.
The Algerian Dinar (DZD) is the local currency. Our tours are priced in Euros for your convenience. ATMs in major cities accept Visa/Mastercard, but we recommend bringing some Euro or USD cash to exchange locally, especially for Sahara trips where ATMs are scarce.
Arabic and Tamazight (Berber) are the official languages. French is widely spoken in cities and business contexts. Our tour guides are fluent in English, French, and Arabic, so you will always have someone who can help you communicate.
Lightweight, modest clothing (covering shoulders and knees when visiting religious sites), comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and a scarf for dusty Sahara conditions. We recommend a small daypack and a reusable water bottle. We provide full packing lists after booking.

It depends on the package — each tour page clearly states what is included (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or all meals). Most multi-day Sahara tours include all meals. Day tours typically include lunch only. We cater for vegetarian and halal diets — just let us know at booking.
