Everything you need to know before booking your Egypt adventure — Giza Pyramids, Cairo, Luxor and beyond.
Yes. Egypt's main tourist destinations — Cairo, Giza, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh — are safe and heavily visited. The Egyptian government has invested significantly in tourist security. Roza Tour provides fully escorted group tours with local licensed guides throughout your stay.
Most nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival at Cairo International Airport or purchase an e-Visa online before travel. Citizens of the EU, UK, USA, Canada and Australia are eligible for e-Visa. Roza Tour guides you through the process and advises on the easiest method for your nationality.
Our Egypt tours include the Great Pyramid of Giza, Pyramid of Khafre, Pyramid of Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. We also include the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Khan el-Khalili bazaar, and (on multi-day tours) Luxor's Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple.
Yes — entry inside the Great Pyramid requires an additional ticket (not included in the general site ticket). We advise purchasing this in advance during peak season. Our guides brief you on what to expect inside and the best photo spots outside.
October to April are the ideal months — comfortable temperatures of 18–28 °C. Summer (June–August) is very hot in Cairo and Luxor (40 °C+) but manageable with early-morning sightseeing. We recommend early-morning Giza visits to avoid the afternoon heat and crowds.
The Egyptian Pound (EGP) is the local currency. Our tours are priced in Euros. ATMs are widely available in Cairo, Giza and tourist areas. We recommend carrying some USD or Euro as a backup, as tips for guides and staff are customarily paid in USD.
Arabic is the official language. English is widely spoken in tourism sectors — hotels, guides, restaurants and shops. Our Roza Tour Egypt guides are fluent in English, French and Arabic.
Light, breathable clothing — linen or cotton. Modest dress is respectful, especially at mosques (shoulders and knees covered). Comfortable closed-toe walking shoes for uneven pyramid terrain. Sunscreen (SPF50+), sunglasses, a hat, and a reusable water bottle are essential.
